Who you are dealing with

Petra Home is the retail studio of Petra Wooden Industries, a joinery and fit-out manufacturer that has worked in the UAE since 2001. Purchases are made from Petra Home Furniture Trading CO LLC, registered in Dubai, with its showroom and factory in Umm Ramool, Rashidiya.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Petra Home Furniture Trading CO LLC. "You" means the person buying from us or using this site.

About this website

This site is a catalogue. The pieces, prices and descriptions shown here are an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer, and nothing you do on the site by itself creates a contract.

We keep the catalogue as accurate as we can, but availability changes as pieces leave the floor. Anything you order is confirmed by us in writing first.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in UAE dirhams and include VAT where it applies. Where a price is not shown, it is available on request.

Prices and availability can change without notice. The price that applies to your purchase is the one confirmed on your invoice or order confirmation — not the one displayed on the site at any other moment.

We accept payment in the showroom and through secure payment links we send you. We will never ask for your card details over WhatsApp, by email, or by phone.

Orders and confirmation

An order exists once we have confirmed it to you in writing and taken payment or a deposit. Until then we cannot hold a piece for you.

Made-to-order and bespoke pieces normally require a deposit, which is set out in your quotation. Lead times quoted for them are careful estimates, not guarantees.

Delivery and collection

We deliver across the UAE. Delivery charges are quoted before you confirm the order and depend on the address and the piece.

Please make sure the piece will fit. Doorways, lifts, stairwells and turns are yours to check, and we will help you measure if you ask. Where a delivery cannot be completed because access is not possible, the delivery charge still applies.

You are welcome to collect from the factory in Umm Ramool by arrangement.

Returns, refunds and warranty

Faulty pieces are repaired within 14 days of delivery, and in-stock catalogue pieces can be returned within 7 days if you change your mind. Every piece carries a twelve-month warranty on frames, joinery and workmanship.

Bespoke and made-to-order work

Custom sizes, finishes and fabrics are made through Petra Wooden Industries. We will show you drawings, finish samples or fabric swatches before production, and we build to what you approve.

Because these pieces are made for you, they cannot be returned because you changed your mind. If one is faulty, it is repaired under the returns policy like anything else.

Natural materials and images

Wood, stone, leather and bouclé vary. Grain, colour and figure differ from piece to piece, and solid timber moves with heat and humidity. That is the material behaving as it should, not a defect.

Photographs on this site are as accurate as we can make them, but screens render colour differently. Where the exact shade matters, come and see the piece, or ask us for a sample.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — photography, text, drawings, the Petra Home and Petra Wooden Industries names and marks, and the designs of our pieces — belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written consent.

You are welcome to share links to the site and to our pieces.

Using this site

Please use the site lawfully and reasonably. Do not interfere with it, extract its content in bulk, or send inquiries that are false, abusive or automated.

We may restrict access where the site is being misused.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law.

Beyond that, our liability in connection with a piece is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will always be available or free of error.

Privacy and cookies

We collect your name and phone number when you send an inquiry, your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter, and anonymous usage records that tell us which pieces people look at. We do not sell your data.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when we confirmed your order, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from a purchase, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.

Consumer complaints can also be raised with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.
